The Art Of Poetry Writing In My Point Of View

 A few of my friends asked me,"Zil, how did you manage to think and write a good poem in like 15 minutes?". Well,to me,writing a short and straight-to-the-point poems like the ones i wrote wouldn't take longer than 30 minutes to write,unless you are planning to write a very good,top-class poems like those written by William Shakespeare or A. Samad Said,you might want to put more thinking efforts to get the words right. So in this short article,I will share a few ways to get my mind working on a new short poem.

1. Always brush up your English or language vocabulary. It helps a lot to spare some good words to be included in your poem. Bear in mind that common conversations words also help in structuring your art but it might not be as influencing as a rare poetry words do. Study the works of other poets to get the feel and power of these words.
2. Immerse in a feeling when starting your art. Your feelings play a major role in producing art. Try closing your eyes for a minute to settle those feelings and feel it flow through your head,your arms and straight to your writing equipment. Trust me, you'll soon be writing a rather meaningful poem when you put your feelings into your art.
3. Always bring a pen and paper in handy. You will never know when an epic piece might come whizzing by. I carry around my tablet around which is always ready in case a random short line pops up while i'm walking around, or window shopping. 
4. If mental block occurs in any time during your writing process, try searching for an ambience song or any song that would roughly match the mood you governed in your work in progress. Chances are the flow of the music would stimulate your mind into writing again based on your chosen mood for that particular poem.
5. Most of all, be original! Your original piece would mean more rather than simply copying the work of others. 

There are thousands of ways to kickstart your creative side. Believe me, artistic writing talent lies deep within everyone. Its how you tap it that matters. Happy writing people..

The Minds Of Time

The genius mind that impresses me,
The works of gold,how can it be;
Their works ahead of their time,
Their ideas,are seen as a crime.
As people of that time did not see,
What they had,as knowledge is the key.

Ingenious work of these great minds,
Broke mankind off their dark bind;
But why in the world would they reject?
Something as big,where none of the words are at the exact?

Their works stand with glory until today,
Till time takes them away,
As their identities are carved in history,
None of us will ever feel their genius glory

Lights Of Kuala Lumpur

Lights wake the pitch dark night,
Turning the place so bright;
Such a dazzling sight,
The night scene in Kuala Lumpur.

Streams of cars whiz like light chains,
Filling all the road lanes;
People fill the tiles of the complex,
Walking without the need of an index.

Here I sit looking down below,
Dimly lit,only by the faint glow,
How lively KL looks under the stars,
From close and  far.

How You Mean To Me

Although they are far away,
But always in my heart,they will stay;
As your presence gives me hope in life,
To never give up,and always strive.
My words are never the best for you,
The best actions for you,I will never can do;
But,the best I will try,for this feeling to show,
That you are being loved,till the day hangs low.

Thank you for completing,my only life,
By signifying the true meaning of care,
The joy and downs,we always share;
Till the day,when we are apart.

Dedicated to my most beloved family n all my friends....These words will never be able to show my real love towards you all.....

What In The World

What had happened,I did not expect,
Didn't even understood it to be exact;
The event that shook my focus,
It spinned it into a locus.

War of words had broke out,
Having me,all in a big doubt;
A flaming hate,turned a friend into a foe,
That shook me in disbelief from head to toe,

Words of care did little to cool it down,
Till everyone was in a frown;
So I think there is nothing I can help,
Except to wait till it comes to its cap.

So that's the highlight of tonight,
Yes,it isn't a pretty sight;
But thats the best way I see it,
Because no possible actions from me seems to fit.

The Great Warriors

Great warriors arranged in ranks,
Standing by on the banks;
Awaiting orders to launch the attack,
A war,where there is no turning back.


Great warriors who never knew their fate,
But to turn back,its now to late;
But their hearts,truly believe,
They will succeed and will live.


Great warriors are there at stake,
But an epic history,they will make,
For their bravery,is why we are free,
Without them,what is there for us to be.


The one who feels the flame in their heart,
You are not so far apart;

To be known as a true hero,

And no other,to save us from being a zero.

Great warriors where have you gone,

Only here now to be mourned;

As your spirits will live on,

Forever,as new generations are born.

Bright Midnight Star

As how you may deny the fact,
But my words are at the exact;
The way you look,all to sweet,
No words of beauty,seems to fit.

Your eyes are bright,like a midnight star,
That takes people,to a land so far;
Your face signifies,a look so demure,
For every sadness,you are the cure.
A cheerful personality,yourself prevail,
That captures a heart,without fail.

There is more to know,about you still,
